I am Meredith - the artist behind Wednesday Morning Studios. My home and studio space is in Olympia, WA with my wonderfully supportive partner, Ben, 2 dogs, 1 cat, and 2 rabbits. Having a dedicated creative outlet in my life has been a dream and it only keeps expanding.
I create both handmade, wheel-thrown pottery and stained glass in my garage studio in Olympia, Washington.
I’m inspired by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest in creating my pieces. I use my photography from prior adventures to create my stained glass templates. I also source my materials locally using glass that is handblown out of Seattle or made in Portland, and clay/glazes for pottery local from Tacoma and Seattle. The colors I incorporate into my pottery glazes are earthy tones with a splash of color.
Both of these creative outlets have brought so much joy to my life, and I’m forever grateful to the community of artists that I’ve met along the way.
